8 days later. I haven't been on a computer since last friday. So there's much to tell. So much to write -- so little time. Last thursday I went to the first Naps game for the season and saw them beat Scarborough. Nostalgic. Especially the evening when I went to Micah's to lime after. I hadn't seen my old Naps friends since around the same time last year for football. Some friend I am eh. Saw Lester and Haimchan in their new cars with their crotch-grabbing rhetoric. lol. They're really moving along in life. Hope to be saying the same in a year or so. Glad for them. Spent my Friday night doing MIS project. All night. And on Sunday into Monday. Didn't even sleep till tuesday. I forgot what that was like. The presentatation went ok. I think people were just to tired at the end of the class to even comment on our work . We were the last group to present in an extended almost-4hr-class. I was too tired to even sleep.
On tuesday was the final of intercol. I took her with me and she met the friends and some relatives too. She enjoyed herself -- even though she was PMSing. I was surprised that she didn't chew someone's had off. lol. just kidding. Both Naps and St. Anthony's had the chance to create their own history. St. Anthony took their chance though. But by 6 man?? I mean, no-one in their right mind expected Naps to win, but by 6 man?? Those boys never played like they wanted to win. It made the front page. Could you believe that?? But we take our licks in stride like we always do. Had to endure all the talk when I went back to school.
And I still haven't started studying for my exams as yet... |

The Pope
A guy goes to his barber and says, "I'm going to Rome! I'm flying Alitalia and staying at the Rome Hilton, and I'm going to see the Pope!"
The barber says, "Ha! Alitalia is a horible airline, the Rome Hilton is a dump, and when you see the Pope, you'll probably be standing behind 10,000 people!"
So the guy goes to Rome and returns a week later. He tells the barber, "Rome was great! Alitalia was perfect, the Rome Hilton was beautiful, and I met the Pope!"
"You met the Pope?" the barber replies.
"I bent down and kissed his ring." The guy says.
"What did he say?" asked the barber.
"He said, 'Where did you get that crummy haircut?'"

So after yesterday's wonderful revelation (the toenail thing), I decided to put in a semi-proper entry today, to accomodate those of you who actually read this. Hopefully you will gain some divine inspiration or wisdom from reading this. Ramble, ramble, ramble, ramble some more. I actually stayed up till 2 this morning doing work. Well actually I was at a friend's house and we were working on a project. Twas cool. I guess I have more of that to do in the next 6 weeks or so. Have to put aside my constant laziness at some time. Hopefully it'll be soon. Chaguanas is really becoming developed. I guess all they need now is a waterfront and a good club and as Hernandez said, thay can put the future University of Trinidad and Tobago in Chagaunas and then ppl would never have to leave I guess. Saw some huge-ass houses in Lange Park last night. What de fuck those ppl do to have houses so big?? |

Oh my god!! Naps actually beat Princes Town...and give the principal a heart attack too!! Shit boy, that was hard. In following Navin's tradition of not shaving in the weeks leading up to exams, I've decided to put my own twist to it and not cut my toe-nails. :-) I will clean them though. |

I think I'm taking this 'don't care too much about school cus it has no relevance to my future' a little too far now. I've totally stopped studying and I think I've forgotten that I actually need to pass my exams to graduate this year.
Some lovely rain fell this morning which encouraged me to sleep in late and miss my Auditing class. Great excuse though ;-) |

Long time no smell. Tough week. Really. Ppl died. Had exams. One today -- my toughest and I haven't even started to study for it as yet. I hate school now. I should say that I hate accounting. I'm sure if I was studying Comp Sci or something i wouldn't be like this now. It might have been something I would've enjoyed. I think Hernandez really has an eye for business now. He's opened a sandwich depot on campus. I guess this is free advertising or something. lol. |
